By accessing or using AskThePlans, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use our service. Simple as that.

2. Description of Service

AskThePlans is a messaging and project management application designed for builders, contractors, and tradespeople. We provide tools for team communication, file sharing, and project organisation.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use AskThePlans
• One person or business per account – no sharing login details

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use AskThePlans for any illegal purpose
• Share content that infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the service to spam or harass others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to AskThePlans. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service. We won't sell your content or use it for advertising.

6. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You can cancel anytime, and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We'll do our best to notify you of planned maintenance. We're not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you can request an export of your data within 30 days.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
